Molenbeek Ventures Corporation

Builder of single family and multifamily homes, condos, high-end single family homes, and exclusive town homes, all designed for affordable and/or luxury living with exceptional views. The newest project The Trails in West Kelowna is currently on its way; a subdivision up to 200 homes.


Company history

Molenbeek Ventures was founded in 2006. Inspired by one of the largest builders in the Netherlands. Financially independent, Molenbeek started in 2006 with the construction of a 28-unit apartment building in Vernon. Shortly thereafter we purchased land in West Kelowna and started the infrastructure for Creekside Park Residential Development; a 50 single and multifamily development with affordable luxury homes. Followed by 85 homes in 2011 in West Kelowna Elkridge Development; a very successful project for young families & starters. We worked together with the Central Okanagan foundation to implement "Project Build"; an innovative program that turned industry related donations into non-repayable grants to home buyers to make down payments. With more multiple projects on the go in the Okanagan Valley and on Vancouver Island, Molenbeek is always actively looking for land to start new developments.


Molenbeek is a long time member of the Canadian Home

Builders Association and fully licensed with the Home

Owner Protection Office (Now called BC Housing),

and partner with the most reputable Home Warranty

providers Travelers and Pacific.


Working with a European back ground in mind, Molenbeek

Ventures will keep transcending the limits of the

conceivable and will give the Okanagan valley a proof of

its existence by building homes with a different angle,

such as the newest project "Skyview Terraces" in Kelowna. Skyview Terraces won 3 golden Tommie awards and two silver among 230 builders; A true recognition of the Okanagan real estate industry. MVFC takes pride in not just building "the ordinary" but give greater Kelowna a contemporary look. The Trails in West Kelowna, the newest almost 200-homes-subdivision with incredible lake views, will be will be an exceptional example of a subdivision with a “new look” of homes in the Okanagan.


Having its own working capital, MVFC has been able to realize all projects with very sound financial abilities. Even during the recent economic turmoil they were constantly offered more credit than needed.  MVFC's development-team have built a solid and reliable reputation with the Regional Districts, Cities, WFN, professionals, trades, suppliers, and their customers.

Wim’s background in the building industry goes back to 1980. His involvement was instrumental in the construction of many large sized developments. Among them a 78-home development Elkridge, 52 homes at Horizon Lane, West Kelowna. a 28 Condominium. Aberdeen  Heights Condo's in Vernon. 40 Town homes at Skyview Terraces down town Kelowna and currently a 195 homes Development called The Trails

Paul has been involved full-time in land-development and the building industry and has an extensive Strategic Corporate Coaching background. Paul will continue to build MVFC on an operational and strategic level. His leadership is pragmatic and focused on relationships. The company philosophy still is performance-based and strives to build unique homes on the nicest locations for their customers

Another important factor that won Molenbeek the Silver Tommie out of 250 contenders is the community itself. Paul notes that the community is social and intimate while the central focus is a natural park with walking paths and a charming bridge over a creek surrounded by tall trees. “We were proud to include

the park in our property,” he says.


Home warranty insurance can only be provided by insurance companies approved by the provincial Financial Institutions Commission. Minimum coverage and allowable exclusions for third-party home warranty insurance are set by legislation. As a minimum, homes built by Licensed Residential Builders must have 2-5-10 year home warranty insurance - the strongest construction defect insurance in Canada. Coverage includes 2 years on labour and materials (some limits apply), 5 years on the building envelope and 10 years on the structure of the home.


During the first year occupying your custom home you are covered by the Development Project for the first year Home Warranty to correct defects in materials and workmanship. When you do your final walk-through and inspection with a Kelowna Highland Development representative, we will advise you of the target dates of the service calls that might be required so that you get the maximum benefit from each call.


A Year after you take possession, we follow up on our commitment to you one more time. We visit to handle any required warranty work, discuss issues or answer questions. Your protection doesn’t end there; when you purchased your home with Kelowna Highland Development you receive a 2-5-10 year protection from Pacific Home Warranty. This protection provides a two(2) year materials and labor warranty, five (5) year building envelop warranty and a ten(10) year building structural defects warranty.
